Publications

We have published several books over the last couple of years and are always looking for others. Our current projects are listed below. There are currently two series in process and the initial books in these series are available in our store here on line. You can also see and get any of the titles at the Great Lakes Artisan Village, in Holly Michigan. This store opened in April of 2010. Saint Paul's Press, LLC. is a founding member of this store and we encourage everyone to come out and see it.

Paul Adams, watercolor artist extraordinaire, began his career as a commercial artist immediately upon graduation from Detroit’s Cass Technical High School in 1960. He spent thirty years mastering the skills of tracing, drawing, rendering pen & ink and/or full color ads, creating both visual and mental ad content across a wide spectrum of topics, and even mastering the art of hand lettering on the side. The end product of his artistry is work so detailed and realistic it prompts queries about the kind of camera or computer graphics programs he uses. Of course, his long list of admirers and patrons know that every single image is completely hand drawn and rendered in exquisite water color by this meticulous master.

Thistledom, brought to life by author and teacher, John LaCroix. This captivating story reveals a tiny kingdom hidden somewhere in the Land of the Mitten -- home to intelligent and resourceful little people called Nobbies. Mr. LaCroix creates a marvelous mix of characters, creatures, and life values in a carefully crafted narrative that is truly a refreshing tale for all ages. Struggles with nature and strange outside forces threatening to destroy them reveals much about character, courage, pride, and the price of personal commitment. Powerful personalities and partnerships forge and shape a kingdom, but tragedy linked to an eerie presence in the bog at the base of the mountain alters forever the course of Nobby history. Spanning generations replete with great moments of glory, haunting disappearances, deep family anguish and feats of heroism, Thistledom endures as a Land filled with opportunity, challenges and choices – not unlike our own. Its legacy is inscribed on an old pendant: “A Seed’s Power Lies In Its Promise.”

Our lives do have meaning. We do have a purpose. There is nothing accidental about us. Our lives are intended to begin here as the first phase of a one-way journey. Heaven is our goal, and our humanity is the ticket home. This is the plan; this is reality. It has been so from the beginning, and will remain so until the end of time. Ignorance changes nothing. Isn't it time you opened your eyes and mind to see where time well spent will lead?

Knowledge is power, and the truth does indeed set us free.

The "Journey to Faith" (JTF) series is a collection of five books based on a personal and continual search for answers to these and other basic questions about life and death. "The Existence of God: How can I know this?" and "Revelation About God & Man: How can I believe this?" set the stage from this present work, "The Faces of Good, Evil & Grace: "How do I recognize them?" Though answers will be different for each of us, the search engine or process used to find them can be shared by anyone. "Angels Among Us: Why do I need to know them?" and "The Art of Dying: The role of christian suffering" complete the collection. It is my hope that these reflections will help you discern answers that will bring greater self-awareness, confidence, understanding, and inner peace.
