This poem was written back in the 80's by James LaCroix. Now a doctor living in Ohio, Dr. LaCroix at the time was attending High School and felt a compulsion to write about his thoughts about this war. His poem published in the Detroit News. Click on the Icon to view the poem.
James LaCroix, MD now lives in Southern Ohio with his wife and three children. In his own practice Dr. LaCroix always looks to lend a hand to those in need. Through out his life he remembers the lessons he learned from writing about the sacrifices made by truly great americans and never takes that for granted.
